Bereavement Centers Can Receive Funding

The program funds bereavement support services and grief counseling for children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or loved one. The foundation gives strong preference to independent bereavement centers and camps that: are not affiliated with a hospice or hospital; demonstrate a commitment to the use of community trained volunteers; and have multicultural competence in addressing children and adolescent’s bereavement needs.
