The Administration for Children and Families (HHS) is preparing to start its FY 2018 grantmaking early next calendar year, providing forecast information for several funding programs overseen by its Administration for Native Americans and Office of Refugee Resettlement. ACF promotes the economic and social well-being of children, families, individuals, and communities with leadership and resources for compassionate, effective delivery of human services. Tribes to compete for millions in funding ACF’s Administration for Native Americans supports tribal communities by providing financial assistance and capacity building, gathering and sharing data and advocating for improved policies within HHS and across the federal government. Forecast information has been provided for four of ANA’s programs, including the popular Social and Economic Development Strategies ( (CFDA Number: 93.612) (Funding Opportunity Number: HHS-2018-ACF-ANA-NA-1339).  SEDS supports community-driven projects designed to grow local economies, strengthen Native American families and decrease the high rate of current challenges caused by the lack of community-based businesses, and social and economic infrastructure in Native American communities.
